apply a delicate amount of unsharp masking. i always use amount 100, threshold 2 or 3, and vary the radius depending how big/small the image is.

i'd also separate the image into layers and apply blur to just the blue layer. it'll reduce the grain.

either you need to use a better film or find a better lab. the colors are a bit blocking up.

The sky is great, fading from blue to yellow and the branches in foreground create a very nice contrast. The composition is good also.

I like how the trees are silhouetted and the real attention lies in the sunset. the clouds look amazing and puffy, and the transition of colors from orange to a dark blue from the bottom up is incredible! Definitely one of the best sunset shots i've seen, +fav!

what I like about this, is that you could've just taken a shot of the sunset (which would've been nice too) but instead you went for composition and framed those trees nicely in the shot. It has such a peaceful look to it - lovely colours.
